The MFOR team was privilidged to be part of this year's Development Partners Forum 2026, which was organised by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MFED) and convened from 10-11 September 2026 in Kiritimati Island. MFOR team represented by Secretary and Senior Assistant Secretary were part of the overall planning team and involved in moderating a panel session dedicated for mobilising support for the Flagship Multi-Purpose Port project in Betio and Kiritimati. MFOR interests in this forum is to build relationship with existing partners and explore where the fisheries priorities can be further advanced. MFOR acknowledged MFED, MFAI and all partners for a successful Development Partners Forum this year 2026.
