Stakeholder Retreat Marks Milestone for STLD Project
#northtarawa | A focused three-day retreat (26/02/26 – 01/03/26) in North Tarawa brought together technical teams and key stakeholders to fast-track the final design of the STLD office in Betio. The intensive sessions enabled consolidated input from representatives of MISE, MELAD, and MFOR, ensuring that all structural, quality, costing, and compliance requirements are fully aligned with national standards.
MFOR extends its sincere appreciation to all participants for their dedication, expertise, and teamwork in making the retreat a success. The collective effort demonstrated over the three days represents a significant milestone toward the establishment of a fully functional and forward-looking STLD facility in Betio.
Lastly, MFOR expresses a sincere appreciation to World Bank through Pacific Regional Oceanscape Program (PROP) for its continuous support to the STLD team.
