The post-harvest training on seaweed products such as ice cream and jam with pawpaw, along with the processes for making tuna jerky and samosa, was conducted by Fisheries Officers for the women's group known as Nei Mom Uprising. This training was considered important as it helps improve their value-adding skills for household needs and business purposes. The one-day training took place on November 30th, 2024, at the RAK Centre in Antebuka. For more information about the recipes for these products, contact the Coastal Fisheries Division (CFD) in Ambo at 75021525. Great appreciation goes to the World Bank through the PROP project for its support of this training.
