A team from the Coastal Fisheries has just returned from their recent trip to TabNorth, 23-28 May 2026. The primary aim of the trip was to consult with the full council on the hatchery project. Following the consultation, the full council agreed that the MFOR would draft and share the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the council, allowing it to make any comments and adjustments as it sees fit. Once the MOU is finalised and signed by the parties involved, construction of the mini hatchery will begin.
